Memory-Map Navigator

The Memory-Map Navigator & Pocket Navigator programs use digital geo-referenced versions of standard aviation charts familiar to all pilots.  A wide range of non-aviation charts are also available. Your position is plotted and shown on the moving map display, along with your direction of travel and track and other important data. Routes can be planned and uploaded together with waypoints to Garmin and Magellan GPS units. You can even scan and geo-reference your own maps for use with the program. WinPilot VFR

Winpilot is an intuitive flight navigation program using up-to-date aviation data-bases.  You can plan a route choosing from the stored waypoints, or create your own user waypoints.  Navigation data including airfields, airspace and nav aids for most parts of the world is available. Regular navdata updates are currently available FREE OF CHARGE after initial purchase. Detailed terrain maps can also be included  in the display.  The program will give visual and audible warnings as you approach or enter airspace.  It will also show you airfields within safe gliding distance in case of engine failure.  HSI and other navigational data can be displayed. 3 map orientation settings are available: north up, track up or goal up. Numerous parameters can be configured by the user.  This is a straight forward, easy to use program but with many useful features. More details here
