For the first time CAA 1:500,000 and 1:250,000 VFR Charts
are now available on CD for use with Memory-Map Software. German ICAO charts
from DFS are also available from June 2003. French ICAO charts
will be available in the near future.Use on a PC to plan fights, print your own personalised paper charts, or program routes and waypoints into a GPS.
Use on board on a Pocket PC with a GPS connected, to see a moving chart display showing your real-time position. A Navigation Window displays a pointer indicating direction, bearing and distance to the
next waypoint. CAA VFR charts include a FREE PC Viewer for viewing charts and planning routes. Printing, GPS Programming and Positioning functions require the Memory-Map Navigator Software. |

- GPS data shown includes position, date, time, speed, altitude, heading indicator, bearing and distance to next waypoint, ETA at final desination, cross track error and velocity made good.

- Proximity alarm can be set to alert when approaching waypoints.
